Reflection on holiday Greeting Video

1. Looking at the comments that I wrote about other videos I feel I did a good job on the whole video, but mostly on the music and the titles. I also did good on the background images because you could really tell where my partner Alicia and I were at. I felt our video was one of the most creative video just because of our tile and background.
2.i would of liked to added other images when were talking about it so that the audience will know what were talking about. I also would of liked to have my partner and I in one video standing next to each other. I especially liked it because i thought it was different and it gave the videos a different feel to them.
3. I specifically helped put on the editing part and I also fixed the background in after effects. I felt like the work was distributed evenly throughout my partner and I.
4. My partner helped me by just knowing how to do everything becasue i forgot how to do some things. I helped my partner by showing a few tricks that I knew about editing.
5. If i had another chance to complete this video I would change the music to something more up beat because tI thought the music was kinda boring. I would also like to redo on the parts where I mess up on. Also i would want to add some music in the begining with the title so it could grab the audience's attention more. Besides that i would leave everything else the same becasue my partner and I worked really hard on our video.

green screen reflection

a green screen works by using an off colored background and filming in front of it and able to replace the green screen with any background. The most important considerations in filming are make sure theres no shadows, no wrinklies in the screen, and that the person getting filmed is centered. Some problems that arise when you try to eliminate the green screen background is shadows, poor lighting, and when you edit the background the person may start to disappear. the technique that was easier to me was the after effects. I really enjoyed learning and using the green screen because it was something that i never used before. i hope in the future that i will be able to use the green screen again.

4. I loved when liz asked the question 'what is sexting' becasue it gets the poeple aware of the question. its before the title what is exting.
5. they had a message at the end of the clip and it helped me understand what I should of got out of it. after the part where cynthia is getting arrested by eddy.

1. I learned how to transition the clips. after the 'perla interview' and before the title 'cyberbullying is'
2. I learned when you us different camera angles and the right music you could set the mood. they start to talk about the effects of cyberbullying.

In my video Im most satisfied with the whole video because my group and i worked really hard. Im also satisfied with the music because it goes well. comments that help me were that some of our video clips were to long and boring, so I anded a title slide to break up the video. Some changes we did were we cut a coule clips completly and some just a little bit. If i had another day to change something I would try to edit the video clips better. If i had another chance to do the project over i wouldnt do anything different because I love my video how it is. When creating this video I discovered that I have computer skils and I also realized that when I put my mind to something I could do it. I think my project will be very helpful for others one day.

This is an example of creating titles, which means we are able to create titles for different sections of the videos. You might use this kind of title when you want to describe something or someone.

lifting, extracting

A simple cut in the timeline means cutting one section in the middle of the clip. When you cut the other clips in the timeline it makes the video shorter. A ripple edit is when you are able to get a little section of the clip and cut it off. You preform this step by right clicking the mouse in the section you want to get rid of, then click ripple delete. The other clips got cut shorter. Lifting and extracting are two ways to cut parts of the videos at one time. to do this you first have to set a in and out point at the end of the first clip and a liitle bit of the second clip, then click the extracting button.

overlays_inserts

this video is an example of overlay and inserts editing cllips. I decided to place the second clip together with the first clip. I used the second part of the clip to help the viewers be able to see the girls expressions on her face after she completed the race. You overlays by clicking on the clip then draging it on top of another clip in the timeline. when you insert a clip you have to do the same but you replace it with another clip in the timeline.

I love how the final product came out because i feel it got the message across. Some of the skills that I used in the making of the video was to analyse and edit the clips. I also had to upload the video to youtube and my blog. My favorite thing about the video was that we used comedy to get the message across. I would like to improve my skill on exporting the video to a file because me and my partner had the hardest time with that area.
I helped my partner by writting all the information about the videos and I knew how to work the computer more. My partner helped me by taking charge and telling me what to do. On some parts that I didn't know how to do my partner knew how so it helped us work as a team. We had to use all the skills that we learned to get this project done. One major problem we had with the technology was when we had to export the video. The computer kept freezing, but we just kept trying and it eventually worked. Another problem was it wasted to much time to watch the videos because it went to slow to upload, so we just watched them with a different group, so we weren't behind.

my reflection

During the project I learned many things. I now know how to edit videos, and yo make the videos better by refining them. The easiest part was editing the video clip because I knew how to use the program. My partner and I had a little trouble remembering how to make the clip into a video, but we looked on the blog. We took most of our time watching it. I even know how to get a video from youtube and put it in my blog. I feel like I learned a lot of things on the project that would help me later on.

This message of this video is about being patient with others.
The vidoe is shot at the footsteps in the wet cement because the filmaker wants us to see that the old man had patience for the little boy. The little boy had no idea of what he was doing and the old man didnt get upset with him.

Our group liked the ''cafeteria'' video the best. It showed an example of reaching out to someone. Reaching out to people is a good way to make friends.
